ABOUT MIKE PLACHY

Mike Plachy is a 2nd Generation Jeet Kune Do Instructor under original Bruce Lee student Jerry Poteet. Mike is a hands-on instructor, with a focus in the growth and development of each student. In order to keep the quality of the training high, Mike chooses to teach small groups and private lessons. Jeet Kune Do is now being passed on to a new generation of practitioners in Orland Park, IL.

Mike is also an ACE-Certified Personal Trainer and Clinical Massage Therapist. This April, Mike graduated from The Soma Institute, The National School of Clinical Massage Therapy. He was also the Valedictorian of his class. Mike is Nationally Certified in Therapeutic Massage and Bodywork and a Licensed Massage Therapist.

Mike’s goal is to help people improve their lives through Jeet Kune Do, Massage Therapy, and holistic training for the mind, body, and spirit.
